Fiona is a dual-licensed litigator with considerable experience practicing in Hong Kong (China) and Ontario. As an international lawyer, she prides herself on providing customized creative legal solutions to clients in multi-jurisdictions.

After completing pupillage in 2010, Fiona began her legal career as a barrister in Hong Kong. Her practice covered a wide range of matters in criminal, family and commercial litigations. She has extensive experience advising and representing clients on various family matters, from simple clean-break separations to complex high-conflict cases involving international property, parenting disputes and foreign marriage. She was one of the few barristers in Hong Kong to receive advanced training in parenting coordination and family mediation. After practicing law for eight years in Hong Kong, Fiona was requalified to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Before joining Boulby Weinberg LLP, Fiona practiced corporate commercial litigation at two litigation boutiques in Toronto.

Fiona obtained a Global Professional Master of Laws in Business Law (GPLLM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toronto. As a seasoned dispute resolution lawyer with robust master-level training in business law and finance, Fiona excels at adopting an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving.

Outside of work, Fiona is passionate about animal rescue and is a loving dog parent.

Fiona is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. She is licensed to practice law in Hong Kong and Ontario.
