Sanjay brings a unique perspective to his family law practice, having background in criminal and civil litigation.
Before joining Boulby Weinberg LLP, Sanjay was a civil litigator at a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto. His practice specialized in professional negligence, and investigations of insurance fraud.
Sanjay articled at a prominent criminal defense firm in downtown Toronto, where he represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Provincial Offences Court and conducted hearings before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.
Sanjay graduated from the Canadian/American Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, he was champion of the school-wide Keenan Appellate Advocacy Tournament, the final round for which was adjudicated by Judges from the Michigan Court of Appeal and Michigan Supreme Court.
Sanjay is well equipped to advise clients in complex financial family law matters. Following completion of his articling term, Sanjay pursued an MBA, with a specialization in Finance at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University.
Outside of the office, Sanjay enjoys business books, playing golf or tennis, and being an obsessive basketball fan.
