Sarah Boulby Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Sarah Boulby has practiced family law since 1993 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2008. In 2019, Sarah was recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada® as the Toronto Family Lawyer of the Year. She advises clients in Ontario and internationally on complex support, property and parenting issues. She negotiates agreements and represents clients in court at the trial and appellate level and in mediations and arbitrations.

Sarah is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a worldwide organization of family lawyers recognized by their peers as leading lawyers in their countries and is past President of the Canadian chapter. She is a past member of the Law Alumni Association Council of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Sarah also serves as a Director of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Co-Chair of the Family and Estates Committee of the Toronto Lawyers Association.

As a leading family lawyer in Ontario, Sarah speaks and frequently writes on family law issues. She is the author of educational material used by the Law Society of Ontario in its Licensing Process.

Oren Weinberg Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Oren Weinberg has practiced family law exclusively since 2005 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2018. He advocates for his clients when negotiating agreements, appearing before trial and appellate courts, as well as in mediations and arbitrations. Oren handles all aspects of family law, including property and support, parental decision-making responsibility (custody), and parenting time (access). Oren acts for clients based in Ontario and internationally.

Oren is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Advocates’ Society. He is also a Governor of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and the president-elect of the Canadian Chapter.

A qualified mediator and arbitrator, Oren was granted the FDRP Med designation by FDRIO – the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. Oren also participated in the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Negotiation Institute, where he completed the Mediating Disputes Workshop. As a mediator, Oren focuses on his client’s interests to tailor a solution-focused process that promotes the parties’ participation in resolving their differences. Oren also arbitrates matters and represents clients in the arbitration process.

Kenneth A. Fishman Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Kenneth A. Fishman has practiced family law exclusively since his call to the bar in 2009 and is a member of the Advocates’ Society. He has extensive experience in all aspects of family law, including negotiating and drafting domestic contracts and advocating for clients before all levels of court in Ontario. Ken also frequently represents clients at both mediations and arbitrations.

Ken’s significant experience includes assisting clients with issues related to child and spousal support, property division, parental decision-making responsibility (custody), and parenting time (access).
