Sarah Boulby Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Sarah Boulby has practiced family law since 1993 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2008. Best Lawyers in Canada® recognized Sarah as the Toronto Family Lawyer of the Year 2019. She provides advice to clients, both in Ontario and internationally, regarding complex support claims, parenting issues, and property division. She has extensive experience negotiating agreements and representing clients at the trial and appellate levels of court. She also participates in mediations and arbitrations.

Sarah is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a worldwide organization of family lawyers recognized by their peers as leading lawyers in their countries. She is the past President of the Canadian chapter. Sarah is also a past member of the Law Alumni Association Council of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She serves as a Director of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Co-Chair of the Family and Estates Committee of the Toronto Lawyers Association.

As a leading Ontario family lawyer, Sarah regularly speaks on and writes about family law issues. She also authored educational material the Law Society of Ontario used in its Licensing Process.

Oren Weinberg Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law and Family Law Arbitration

Oren Weinberg has exclusively practiced family law since 2005 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2018. Oren strongly advocates for his clients when negotiating agreements, appearing before trial and appellate courts, and participating in family mediation and arbitrations. He helps his clients navigate all aspects of family law, including property division, child and spousal support claims, parental decision-making responsibility (custody), and parenting time (access) issues. Oren acts for clients who are located both in Ontario and internationally.

Oren is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Advocates’ Society. He is also a Governor of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and the president-elect of the Canadian Chapter.

Oren is a qualified mediator and arbitrator and has been granted the FDRP Med designation by FDRIO – the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. He has also participated in the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Negotiation Institute and completed the Mediating Disputes Workshop. Oren’s focus as a mediator is to ensure his client’s interests are met through a tailored, solution-focused process in order to promote the parties’ participation in resolving their differences outside of the courtroom. Oren also arbitrates matters and represents clients in the arbitration process.

Kenneth A. Fishman Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Kenneth A. Fishman has exclusively practiced family law since his call to the bar in 2009 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2023. He is a member of the Advocates’ Society and has extensive experience in managing all aspects of family law, including negotiating and drafting domestic contracts. Ken advocates for his clients before all levels of court in Ontario and frequently represents clients at mediations and arbitrations.

Ken has significant experience assisting clients with child and spousal support issues, property division, parental decision-making responsibility (custody), and parenting time (access) disputes.
